Mark Cooper has been appointed as the new General Counsel at Magnox.
They are a subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and are responsible for the dismantling and repurposing of the UKs nuclear sites for future use. The organisation’s mission is to manage the sites throughout their lifecycles, overseeing all aspects of operation, defueling and decommissioning.
Mark Cooper has spent the past four years at Cadent Gas, where he has been General Counsel and Company Secretary. Mark has previously worked for National Grid, Rolls-Royce and Gowling WLG and brings a strong commercial and strategic mindset to his new role. Mark takes up his post at the end of October 2020 and we look forward to watching him thrive in his new role.
