Moloney Search is delighted to have partnered with the Bank of England on the appointment of Sarah John as its new Chief Operating Officer.

The Bank of England is the UK's Central Bank, responsible for setting monetary policy, issuing currency, ensuring financial stability, and managing the country's economic and financial systems.

Sarah brings a wealth of experience to this role, most recently serving as Chief Cashier and Executive Director for the Banking division, where she oversaw the Bank’s customer banking and settlement operations. In this capacity, Sarah ensured that the Bank’s banknotes incorporated the latest anti-counterfeiting technology and managed the circulation of high-quality banknotes, working closely with financial institutions, banknote suppliers, and retailers.

As Chief Operating Officer, Sarah will oversee the central operations of the Bank, including Human Resources, Technology, Security, Property, Change & Planning, and Data & Analytics.
