Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) have appointed Nurkhat Kushimov, Raz Busari and Nathalie Gallant as their new Directors of Registration, Authorisation and Capital Markets Supervision respectively following a global search led by Moloney Search.
AFSA is the independent regulator of financial services and related activities in the Astana International Financial Centre in Kazakhstan. It was launched in 2018 to increase the attractiveness to foreign and local companies of doing business in Kazakhstan and to bring best practice regulation to the Country.
Moloney Search’s work in Kazakhstan follows a successful engagement with Oman Aviation Services during 2018/19, placing Naif Al Abri, Michael Kilcherr and Christian Schneider as CEO, Ground Handling, Chief Operations Manager and Group COO respectively.
