Rear Admiral Tim Lowe CBE has been appointed as the new CEO for the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO).
Admiral Lowe joined the UKHO as National Hydrographer and Deputy Chief Executive in 2015, before taking up the role of CEO on an acting basis in January 2019. He will relinquish his Naval duties and responsibilities upon taking up the CEO role on a substantive basis.
The UKHO is an executive agency and trading fund of the Ministry of Defence located in Taunton, Somerset and provides hydrographic and marine geospatial data to mariners and maritime organisations around the world.
