Moloney Search is pleased to announce that the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) has appointed Genevieve Marjoribanks as their new Head of Regulatory Policy, joining Chris Hemsley who began as Managing Director in September 2019.
Genevieve comes to the PSR from the FCA, where she was Head of Department and Head of Policy in Strategy & Competition, and was recently temporarily seconded to the Competition & Markets Authority. Genevieve takes over the role of Head of Regulatory Policy from Chris.
Chris is a highly experienced regulator, working at Ofgem, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Office of Rail & Road and latterly at the PSR, initially as Head of Regulatory Strategy & Policy and then acting up on an interim basis as Co-Managing Director.
The PSR launched in April 2015 as an independent subsidiary of the Financial Conduct Authority to promote competition and innovation in payment systems, and ensure they work in the interests of the organisations and people that use them.
